Home Organization Products Everyone Should Have
I’m asked constantly what my favorite organization tools and products are. There are so many out there it can be hard choosing the right one for you.
That’s where a professional opinion can come in handy. Here are some of my favorite home organizing tools.

Wall hooks
One of the things you’ll hear professional organizers say all the time is “use vertical space.” Wall space is precious and versatile. Most of us don’t use it enough. And this pandemic has added a few new items to our wardrobe to consider.
Like masks.
Install a few wall hooks inside of your closet and near any exits in your home. Hang masks, keys, and hand sanitizer holders. This way you’ll never forget them when you’re heading out for the day.
Wall hooks can be used to hang hats and purses as well as kitchen items. No more stuffing them in a corner where they’ll lose their shape or cramming them all in a drawer. It all comes down to strategic placement.
Try these small wire Command Hooks to get you started.
Cable and Cord Management
Many schools and businesses went virtual because of the pandemic. Working and schooling from home made us realize how many cords and cables we use on a daily basis. From laptops to phone chargers. Lamps to portable diffusers.
If you found yourself surrounded by cables, you know how unruly they can get. If they’re not tangled, they’re twisted. Who hasn’t lost their mind trying to undo them all?
Cord management is one of the first things I tell my clients about when we tackle home offices. They’re also effective for your home entertainment center.
Keeping cords and cables untangled doesn’t have to be difficult. Simple separators can make all the difference. Try this variety pack. Believe me, you’ll feel less stressed having all those cables neatly lined up.
Door Organizer
Organizing is all about finding untapped space. You think you don’t have anywhere to put something until you do.
As a professional organizer, I’m asked all the time what my favorite organization tools and products are. There are so many out there it can be hard choosing the right one for you. phone chargers. Lamps to portable diffusers.
Over the door organizers come in a variety of lengths and sizes and can be used for whatever you need. Shoe organizer, pantry organizer, spice racks, etc.
The trick is not to have an organizer over every single door in your home, but to add necessary space where needed. Remember, more space gives you the notion that you can buy more stuff. The goal is not to bring more stuff in, but to properly store the stuff you have now.
Door organizers can give you more space in your cabinets to browse. It can free your closet floor of shoes so you can store bins.

Rolling Cart
There’s nothing worse than sitting down to start your day only to realize you left something important in the other room. Working from home has made this annoyance a daily practice. Who hasn’t had their kids ask for markers in the middle of a Zoom meeting?
A rolling cart or caddy is your best friend in this scenario.
Create a hub for all kinds of needs: school, work, cooking. Tuck it away in a corner at the end of the day. Convenient, simple, and easy to access.

Drawer Organizer
Drawer organizers aren’t just for utensils anymore. How many times have you searched the junk drawer for a pen? Batteries? A paperclip?
Drawer organizers bring a sense of calm to any area. Even junk drawers.
